I love this. I won't divulge my age, but I can tell you as a teen I saw some of the greatest rock bands.

All of what you speak of is 100 percent true except we used lighters. I personally think lighters are cooler than "phone torches"

Sadly, as you stated, concert tickets are insane.

A band that I saw maybe 5 years ago for 25.00 lawn seats are now 75.

Forget about sitting in the seats, you are talking a couple of hundred.

Take a date, eat out and maybe get a hotel cause you don't want to drive a long distance with a $20.00 per cocktail buzz, you're talking a big chunk of change.

I think it's best for young people to go to smokey bars and experience the guy/gal who hasn't made it big yet.

Oh wait, you can't smoke in bars anymore in the US.

Ok, so go to the fair or event that's outside, walk around in your cut offs, berets, and parrot on your shoulder- whatever- JUST GO.

They are the best times in a person's life.
